The Toronto Community Housing high-rise at 220 Oak Street has had a reputation for its brutal stabbings, shootings, drug dealing and bed bugs.


But on the inside is a community of people living their lives and trying to get by as normally as they can.


These polaroid portraits offer a window into the everyday lives of the people living at 220 Oak Street in Toronto’s Regent Park. On the back of the photos, they were asked to write anything that wanted people to know about themselves.
